Observe part of the Salat (prayers) in your homes

Observe part of the Salat (prayers) in your homes
Al Quran
القرآن

English Translation of Al-Quran

[6]. Surah Al-An'am [The Cattle]

Ayat 61. He is the Irresistible, Supreme over His slaves, and He sends guardians (angels guarding and writing all of one's good and bad deeds) over you , until when death approaches one of you, Our Messengers (angel of death and his assistants) take his soul, and they never neglect their duty.

Hadith الحديث

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Ibn Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH)said," Do not turn your homes into graves.'' "Observe part of the [Nawafil (voluntary)] Salat (prayers) in your homes.

[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Lesson: "Observe part of the Salat (prayers) in your homes'' here means Nawafil and Sunnah. The houses in which Nawafil are not performed are like graveyards. Such houses are like graves which have no scope for action and worship and are thus deprived of their reward, which is a great deprivation indeed.

(ISLAM) Prophet Muhammad: Different levels of aspiration

(ISLAM) Prophet Muhammad: Different levels of aspiration

Prophet Muhammad: Different levels of aspiration

The Muslim society the Prophet (peace be upon him) established was a model society to the standards of which all subsequent Muslim generations aspired.

The Prophet's companions were keenly aware of the change that occurred in their lives as a result of their adoption of Islam and implementing it. The gulf that separated their lives before and after Islam was great indeed. Hence they appreciated the meaning of a quality the Prophet indicated of true believers: that they should hate to relapse into disbelief as much as they would hate to be thrown into fire.

However, the community that lived in that society was a community of ordinary human beings, with diverse characters and divergent interests. They experienced all the feelings and desires that motivate ordinary people. If they were prepared to work hard and go to war in support of their faith, they would certainly have preferred a comfortable and easy life. They withstood much hardship, leading a life of poverty for many years. This, however, did not change the fact that, like everyone of us, they would have preferred a better standard of living. When the Battle of Hunayn was over, the Muslims gained great wealth. According to the rules Allah states in the Qur'an, one-fifth of all spoils of war go to the state. The others are equally divided among the soldiers, according to well-defined criteria. The Prophet gave a number of notables from Makkah very large gifts that made them truly rich. Until very recently, these were fighting hard to suppress Islam. Now, they were new Muslims, and indeed one or two of them were still unbelievers. Since these commanded positions of authority among their people, the Prophet wanted to purge their old hatred of Islam and to ensure that they were now committed to it.

The Prophet did not give any such gifts to anyone of the Ansar, the people who never faltered in their commitment to Islam, enduring much hardship in the process. It was natural that they should feel that with such prizes available to the Prophet, they would receive their fair share. Therefore, when they realized that there was nothing coming their way, apart from their rightful shares, they complained. Their spokesman made their feelings clear to the Prophet, showing all due respect.

The Prophet spoke to the Ansar and reminded them of the great change Islam brought into their lives. They acknowledged this and expressed their gratitude to Allah and to the Prophet. He then stated his own indebtedness to them, acknowledging that they gave him shelter when his own people were plotting to kill him, and they supported him against all enemies.

The Prophet then stated the situation that gave rise to their complaint, and he made the issues underlining it very clear. Those gifts went to people who knew very little about Islam so that they would feel that they would lose nothing of their material world when they accepted Islam. On the other hand, the Ansar were keenly aware of what Islam meant to them. He said: "People of the Ansar, are you aggrieved over a trifle of this world which I have given out to certain people in order to win their hearts over to Islam and left you to rely on your faith? Are you not satisfied, people of the Ansar, that other people should go to their quarters with sheep and camels while you go back to your own quarters with Allah's Messenger? By Him who holds Muhammad's soul in His hand, had it not been for my emigration I would have been one of the Ansar. If all people went one way and the Ansar went another way, I would take the way of the Ansar. My Lord, shower your mercy on the Ansar, and the Ansar's children and the children of their children."

Stop Disrespecting the Prophet (pbuh), O We Muslims

Stop Disrespecting the Prophet (pbuh), O We Muslims

By Asma bint Shameem

So… they printed cartoons of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in their newspapers and depicted him in the most abominable, most repulsive way.
Then there was the Facebook issue and we all became angry on how dare they draw our Prophet.

How that hurt you!
It ached and offended you!
And how that made your blood boil!
How DARE anyone say ANYTHING against our beloved, beloved Prophet (pbuh)!!!

But, Yaa Muslim, have you ever thought that the biggest disrespect to the Prophet (pbuh) comes from the Muslims themselves??
Yes, thats right! The Muslims themselves!

Surely, you know and believe that he (pbuh), is the loftiest of examples, the most noble and the greatest, the BEST of Allaahs creation.

Verily he is, by unanimous agreement the Greatest Exemplar.
And the obligation due to him is the greatest after that of Allah;
And the adab to him is the most emphasized of the adab and obediences.

Yet you dare to disrespect him!
You disrespect him left and right, day in and day out and you dont even realize it.
Sure, you claim to love him and respect him, but I ask you…..

Is it love when you disobey him and disregard his teachings?
Is it respect when you refuse to mold your life according to how he taught you?
Is it love or respect when you add and invent new things in his religion? Even though what he was sent with is perfect and complete and doesnt need additions or deletions!

Do you know what the Prophet (pbuh) said??
“Whoever does a deed that is not in accordance with this matter (religion) of ours will have it rejected.” (Muslim).

Do you think it is LOVE when you celebrate one day as his birthday, yet you do not follow his orders for the rest of the year??

You run around without Hijaab…

You conveniently ignore his instructions about earning a Halaal living….

You deal in RIBAA saying it is part of this society….
In fact, SOME OF YOU DON’T EVEN CARE ABOUT PRAYING PROPERLY!!!!

The Masaajid are empty…..the Quran is abandoned….the Sunnah is discarded!

What kind of love is this?

What strange way of respect is this?
When you dont obey the very person you claim to love?!!!

Why do you refuse, oh Muslim???

Dont you want to enter Jannah ?
The Prophet (pbuh) said: “All of my ummah will enter Paradise except those who refuse.”
They said: “O Messenger of Allaah, who would refuse?”
He said: “Whoever obeys me will enter Paradise and whoever disobeys me has refused.” (Bukhaari)

Celebrating his birthday is NOT the way to prove your love!
Holding Khatams of Salaams does NOT show your respect!
Burning down flags, embassies or other acts of violence do NOT establish his Sunnah!

Anyone can claim to love the Prophet (pbuh)….
Singing emotional Nasheeds and giving big talks without following through with actions is just pure LIP SERVICE!

Just because you claim to love him doesnt mean anything in the sight of Allaah if it is not proven by your deeds.

PROVE you love, oh Muslim, by OBEYING HIM.

As we stand in prayer according to the way he prayed, we must also follow him in every walk of our life.
We must incorporate the Sunnah in everything we do, think, practice, believe.

Come back to this perfect religion;
Come back to the perfect way of life….HIS way of life.
Give up all that HE forbade you….
Practice all that HE taught you…..

Worship Allaah the way HE instructed you.
Learn the Deen and ASK if you dont know.

THAT is how you prove your LOVE for him
THAT is how you show RESPECT to him.

And then, and only then, oh Muslim, will you be worthy of claiming your love for him, be worthy of his Shafaah on the day of Judgment and be worthy of his companionship in al-Firdous al-Aala.

May Allaah grant us the Taufeeq to follow his Sunnah and implement his teachings in our lives.

And may Allaah grant us TRUE love for Him and His Messenger (pbuh). Ameen

“He who obeys the Messenger (Muhammad), has indeed obeyed Allaah, but he who turns away, then we have not sent you (O Muhammad) as a watcher over them” [al-Nisa 4:80]

“And whosoever disobeys Allaah and His Messenger (Muhammad), and transgresses His limits, He will cast him into the Fire, to abide therein; and he shall have a disgraceful torment” [al-Nisa 4:14]

The Prophet (pbuh) said: “None of you truly believes until I am more beloved to him that his father, his child and all the people.”(Bukhaari, Muslim)
